Whether it’s a special occasion or an everyday occurrence, it should always be easy for people to get the ingredients they need.</p> <p>The Instacart Design Team is dedicated to making grocery shopping effortless for everyone and solving large-scale challenges across our four-sided marketplace—designing for Consumers, Shoppers, Retailers, and Advertisers.</p> <p>We’re hiring a Senior Product Designer to join the Lifecycle Growth team, focused on Instacart+ (subscription) and Incentives. You will design experiences that shape how customers discover, evaluate, and commit to subscription benefits while evolving the promotional systems that drive activation, retention, and long-term value. This role partners closely with Product, Engineering, Data Science, Marketing, and Research to deliver measurable business impact through cohesive, high-quality product experiences.</p> <p>This is a remote role open to candidates across the United States and Canada, with a preference for those who can collaborate effectively with partners in New York City and Eastern Time hours. You’ll thrive here if you enjoy rolling up your sleeves, collaborating across disciplines, and bringing clarity to complex, fast-moving problems.</p> <h2> </h2> <h2><strong>About the Job</strong></h2> <ul> <li>Drive end-to-end design initiatives across Instacart+ and Incentives—from problem framing and discovery through exploration, iteration, prototyping, and delivery.</li> <li>Design subscription and promotional experiences across key surfaces including home, browse, cart, checkout, post-order, and lifecycle touchpoints (email, push, in-app).</li> <li>Frame problems clearly, explore multiple solution paths, and articulate tradeoffs grounded in customer insight, experimentation, and business impact.</li> <li>Translate experience principles into thoughtful flows, content hierarchy, and interaction patterns that align with Instacart’s design system and brand.</li> <li>Leverage AI-assisted prototyping and concept development alongside strong craft—bringing clarity and rigor to generated concepts that meet system constraints.</li> <li>Design for visual clarity, pacing, and density across subscription and incentive surfaces; collaborate with system owners to ensure consistency and quality.</li> <li>Partner with Research and Data Scienc ...
