1. Acceptance of terms

By accessing or using JobScroller at jobscroller.net ("Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

2. Description of service

JobScroller aggregates publicly available tech job listings from company career pages and third-party job boards. We do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or availability of any listing. Job listings are provided for informational purposes only.

3. Accounts

  • You must be at least 18 years old to create an account.
  • You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials.
  • You may not share your account or API key with others.
  • We reserve the right to suspend accounts that violate these terms.

4. Payments (API only)

JobScroller is completely free for job seekers — no subscription, no credit card, no trial period.

The only paid plans are developer API subscriptions (Starter, Pro, Enterprise):

  • API subscriptions are billed monthly via Stripe. Prices are shown on the API pricing page.
  • You may cancel at any time from your account settings. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period.
  • API subscriptions are non-refundable once the billing period has started, except where required by law.

5. API usage

  • API keys are for your own application's use only. Redistribution or resale of raw API data is not permitted.
  • You may not use the API to build a competing job aggregation service.
  • Rate limits apply per your subscription tier. Exceeding limits may result in temporary throttling or suspension.
  • We reserve the right to modify or discontinue the API with reasonable notice.

6. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • Scrape, crawl, or systematically download content beyond normal API usage.
  • Reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract the source code of the Service.
  • Upload malicious files or content through the resume upload feature.
  • Use the Service for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable law.

7. Intellectual property

The JobScroller platform, including its design, code, and branding, is owned by Quentin Guillaume. Job listing content is the property of the respective companies and is aggregated under fair use for informational purposes.

8. Disclaimers

The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee that job listings are accurate, current, or complete. We are not responsible for the hiring decisions or practices of any company listed on the platform.

9. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, JobScroller shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service.

10. Changes to terms

We may update these terms from time to time. We will indicate the date of the latest revision at the top of this page. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
