Program Manager I, Tech Department: Engineering Team: Program Manager Location: Hyderabad, India Type: Full-Time **About the Role** As a Program Manager I, Tech within the Uber GSS QA team, you will be at the heart of ensuring product quality excellence for all Uber products. You will own the end-to-end QA lifecycle across multiple lines of business, serving as a critical bridge between product, engineering, and vendor teams. This role is designed for a strategic thinker and fast executor who can manage complex testing programs—from pre-launch through regression—while maintaining a high standard for quality and operational efficiency. **What You Will do ?** 1\. Manage the QA Lifecycle: Oversee all phases of testing, including bug management, pre-launch testing, regression testing, and sanity testing across multiple business lines. 2\. Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner closely with Engineering, Product, Device Lab, and Regional teams to ensure seamless program delivery. 3\. Operational Excellence: Collaborate with fellow QA Program Managers to identify, adopt, and share industry best practices across the organization. 4\. Program Ownership: Maintain full accountability for program health, tracking performance against established OKRs, and making data-driven adjustments as needed. 5\. Flexibility: Adapt to and support shifting client requirements during the UAIS product testing program to ensure project success. **Basic Qualifications:** 1\. Experience: Minimum of 6 years of professional Program Management or Operations experience. 2\. Domain Expertise: At least 3 years of experience specifically within a Quality Assurance environment. (Note: QA domain experience is required to qualify for the business screening round) 3\. Vendor Management: Proven experience working with and managing vendor teams. 4\. Strategic Planning: Demonstrated ability to own and drive OKRs for a program. 5\.
