Senior Accountant - General Ledger, R2R

You will have the opportunity to learn alongside best-in-class professionals, in a role that will grow as you&#xa0;develop and are able to take on increased responsibility.</p><p>Excellent task prioritization and organizational skills are a must, as is the ability to cope with complexity in a fast-paced environment.</p><p><strong>What you get to do in this role:</strong></p><p><strong>Senior Accountant - Corporate Accounting:</strong></p><ul><li><strong>Month-End/Quarter-End Close:</strong>&#xa0;Manage the preparation and posting of journal entries, account reconciliations, and supporting schedules.</li><li><strong>Journals &amp; Adjustments</strong>: Prepare and review accruals, prepaids, amortization, benefits, payroll, and other necessary journal entries.</li><li><strong>Intercompany Accounting</strong>: Manage and reconcile intercompany transactions and balances across global entities.</li><li><strong>Cash Flow Management</strong>: Monitor cash flow, ensuring accurate accounting and reporting of cash transactions and balances.</li><li><strong>Balance Sheet Reconciliation</strong>: Perform detailed account reconciliations for Capex, PPD, Leases, Accruals &amp; Other BS GLs and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner.</li><li><strong>Variance Analysis</strong>: Prepare the flux commentaries for MoM, QoQ &amp; YoY.</li><li><strong>Compliance &amp; Controls</strong>: Ensure adherence to SOX controls, company policies, and regulatory requirements.</li><li><strong>Audit Support</strong>: Prepare necessary documentation for internal and external audits, addressing queries and ensuring timely completion of audits.</li><li><strong>Process Improvement</strong>: Identify opportunities for process improvements and automation and implement those improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy in financial reporting and accounting processes.</li><li><strong>Cross-Department Collaboration</strong>: Work closely with FP&amp;A, Treasury, Accounts Payable, Business, and other teams to ensure the integrity and completeness of financial data.</li><li><strong>Ad-Hoc Projects</strong>: Support various finance projects, system implementations, and initiatives to optimize accounting processes and systems.</li></ul> <p><strong>To be successful in this role you have:</strong></p><ul><li>Experience in leveraging or critically thinking about how to integrate AI into work processes, decision-making, or problem-solving. This may include using AI-powered tools, automating workflows, analyzing AI-driven insights, or exploring AI's potential impact on the function or industry.</li><li>5+ years of accounting experience, preferably in an accounting center of excellence for a US MNC managing close for AMER, EMEA &amp; APAC region.</li><li>CA, CPA, CMA, and bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance is required.</li><li>Strong organizational skills and detail-oriented self-starter with the ability to work independently to meet deadlines.</li><li>Great interpersonal skills and ability to work well with others.</li><li>Ability to multi-task, work under pressure, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment with accuracy.</li><li>Ability to work effectively across time zones/geographies with key stakeholders.
