This isn’t a “keep the lights on” job. You’ll lead the charge on one of the fastest growing products at Amplitude, from roadmap to architecture to hiring. If you want to ship fast, grow a killer team, and obsess over user impact, we should talk.</p> <h3><strong>What You'll Do</strong></h3> <ul> <li>Own the Guides Surveys product, technical direction, execution, and team.</li> <li>Ship like it’s your name on the commit. Because it is.</li> <li>Work shoulder-to-shoulder with PM, Design, and Tech Lead to turn raw customer pain into product breakthroughs.</li> <li>Scale systems that capture billions of user events, without melting down.</li> <li>Push the team (and yourself) to write clean, modern, scalable code, and know when to throw perfection out the window to move.</li> <li>Hire, grow, and retain A+ engineers. No passengers.</li> <li>Build a team culture where people love coming to work, and get sh*t done.</li> </ul> <h3><strong>You Might Be a Great Fit If:</strong></h3> <ul> <li>You have <strong>5+ years </strong>of engineering experience and <strong>2+ years of mobile experience</strong>, including some part of that experience managing teams that ship fast and learn faster.</li> <li>Shipped complex, high-impact products in fast-moving environments.</li> <li>Strong opinions on architecture, code quality, and how to balance speed with scale.</li> <li>Mastery of a modern stack (JS/TS, Python, AWS - you get it).</li> <li>Have fully embraced AI and are regularly pushing PRs.</li> <li>A sharp product sense.
