Job Description

Brand Lead ABOUT US: At LangChain, our mission is to make intelligent agents ubiquitous. We build the foundation for agent engineering in the real world, helping developers move from prototypes to production-ready AI agents that teams can rely on. We began as widely adopted open-source tools and have grown to also offer a platform for building, evaluating, deploying, and operating agents at scale. Today, LangChain, LangGraph, LangSmith, and Agent Builder are used by teams shipping real AI products across startups and large enterprises. Millions of developers trust LangChain to power AI teams at companies like Replit, Clay, Coinbase, Workday, Lyft, Cloudflare, Harvey, Rippling, Vanta, and 35% of the Fortune 500. With $125M raised at Series B from IVP, Sequoia, Benchmark, CapitalG, and Sapphire Ventures, we’re at a stage where we’re continuing to develop new products, growth is accelerating, and all team members have meaningful impact on what we build and how we work together. LangChain is a place where your contributions can shape how this technology shows up in the real world. ABOUT THE TEAM: The Brand team is responsible for shaping how LangChain shows up in the world — visually, culturally, and strategically. We work closely with design, social, product marketing, and growth teams to ensure that everything LangChain puts into the world feels cohesive, high-quality, and unmistakably us. Our goal is not just brand awareness, but brand affinity with developers building the next generation of AI systems. ABOUT THE ROLE: We’re looking for a Brand Lead to own how LangChain shows up in the market — and how it feels. In this role, you’ll drive LangChain’s brand presence across paid channels, cultural activations, and developer communities while building the credibility and affinity that makes LangChain memorable to developers. You’ll work closely with design, social, product marketing, and demand generation teams to ensure our brand is consistent, distinctive, and resonant with the technical audiences building on our platform. This is a high-impact, high-ownership role where you’ll help translate LangChain’s strong technical reputation and developer community into a brand that compounds over time. Location: San Francisco, CA or New York City, NY WHAT YOU’LL DO: Cultural Relevance & Brand Affinity - Develop brand moments that earn attention. Conceive and execute unexpected, clever brand activations that feel native to the developer world – the kind of things that get shared because they're genuinely interesting, not because they're a campaign. You'll bring the ideas; you'll also own making them happen. - Drive developer community presence. Own LangChain's brand engagement and affinity across developer communities and channels, both organically and through paid partnerships. Lead our presence in spaces like Reddit, and partner with newsletters and niche publications on sponsorships that feel native rather than interruptive. - Be the internal champion for brand personality. Own and evolve how LangChain sounds and feels across all external touchpoints. Develop and maintain a distinct brand voice – technically credible, opinionated, and human – and codify it, so it’s reflected in everything we do. - Raise the bar for brand vibe and polish. Partner closely with the design team to consistently push the quality and feel of everything LangChain puts out – from campaign assets to swag to social visuals. Bring a strong POV on what looks and feels right into every briefing, review, and vendor selection. Paid & Owned Brand Presence - Own our out-of-home advertising program. Develop and manage LangChain's OOH strategy, including media planning, vendor negotiations, and buy execution across billboards, transit, and targeted placements in key markets. Own messaging, production timelines, asset delivery, and post-campaign measurement. - Drive paid digital brand investments. Identify, evaluate, and manage brand sponsorships across ...
