As a Senior Developer Relations Manager - Metropolis at NVIDIA, you will play a crucial role in crafting the future of computing by driving the adoption of our innovative technologies. Located in the vibrant city of Tokyo, Japan, this opportunity lets you work with a world-class team to build impactful solutions and encourage innovation in video analytics, manufacturing, construction, smart spaces, retail, and media/entertainment. What you'll be doing: Serve as the trusted technical advisor, problem solver, and champion for the developer ecosystem in video analytics in manufacturing, construction, smart spaces, retail, media and entertainment, with cross-functional partners to drive adoption of NVIDIA technologies especially VSS (Video Search and Summarization) blueprint. Accelerate critical workloads by demonstrating innovative solutions that integrate the core NVIDIA stack into developer products, platforms, and pipelines. Advise on technical enablement resources, such as sample code, guides, demonstration pipelines, and tools, highlighting the application of technologies in solving real-world problems. Guide partners and startups through onboarding and integration with NVIDIA’s programs, encouraging co-innovation and the development of next-generation solutions. Map, track, and monitor the developer ecosystem to identify growth opportunities, inform technology roadmaps, and build adoption strategies. Collaborate cross-functionally with solution architects, engineering, product management, and marketing to drive developer engagement and optimize partner adoption strategies. Engage with partner engineering teams, technical leaders, and decision-makers to identify goals, solve technical challenges, and promote guidelines for successful integrations. Represent and advocate for the partner technical needs and feedback to NVIDIA’s internal product and engineering teams, supplying actionable insights from field deployments to influence product roadmaps. Act as a technical inspiring leader through conference presentations, user group engagements, solution showcases, writing tech blog, SNS posting and support for strategic go-to-market and partner initiatives. What we need to see: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or a Master’s degree combined with equivalent practical experience. You should have at least 5+ years of professional experience in the technology field. This includes roles in software engineering, developer relations, and technical partnerships. Additionally, you need over 3 years of direct hands-on experience within your specific ecosystem. Established background in managing, working alongside, and growing developer programs at prominent technology organizations, video analytics, VLM ISVs, or pertinent sectors. Strong technical expertise in video analytics within high-performance computing, cloud, AI/ML, and/or industry-specific frameworks and libraries. Excellent communication skills with the ability to distill complex technical concepts for diverse technical and non-technical audiences from engineers to executives.
