Job Summary Job Summary We are seeking a Sr Staff Software Engineer for our Global Infra Team to develop and maintain the backend of the Global Infra Platform and Cortex products. In this role, you will focus on developing, innovating, and scaling the platform while contributing to shared network and compute infrastructures. You will join a passionate team dedicated to solving complex problems and delivering significant value to thousands of customers by securing their digital world. Key Responsibilities Manage the end-to-end backend development of features and core components through their entire lifecycle, including design, development, testing, deployment, and maintenance. Proactively collaborate with peers across different teams and disciplines to shape solutions and ensure alignment on product integrations. Engage with customers to understand their challenges and provide effective solutions that enhance their day-to-day work. Contribute to team-wide continuous improvement efforts, including participating in code reviews, design reviews, and technical and architectural decisions. Challenge the status quo by curiously exploring new technologies and methodologies to innovate and scale the Global Infra Platform. Simplify complex technical challenges by focusing on the details to deliver robust and efficient backend systems. Qualifications Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree with 5 years of experience, or a Master's degree with 3 years of experience in Computer Science or an equivalent technical field. Strong programming proficiency in one or more of the following: Python, Node.js, or TypeScript. Solid understanding and hands-on experience with relational databases (SQL), MongoDB, and BigQuery. Proven experience building and maintaining high-scale server-side applications on cloud platforms such as Google Cloud Platform (GCP), Amazon Web Services (AWS), or Microsoft Azure. Demonstrated ability as a team player with strong communication skills for effective collaboration across cross-functional groups. Experience with REST API design, development, and consumption, along with familiarity with CI/CD pipelines. Preferred Qualifications Prior experience with containerization technologies, specifically Kubernetes and/or Docker. Knowledge of AI/ML pipelines, Data Science principles, and related technologies. Compensation Disclosure The compensation offered for this position will depend on qualifications, experience, and work location. For candidates who receive an offer at the posted level, the starting base salary (for non-sales roles) or base salary + commission target (for sales/com-missioned roles) is expected to be the annual range listed below.
