Job Summary Job Summary Lead a team of engineers building internal cloud, SDLC, and AI enablement platforms to enhance developer productivity and operational efficiency. You will manage a team delivering core platform capabilities, including CI/CD, Git workflows, and AI-assisted tooling, while overseeing day-to-day execution, people leadership, and the operational health of the platform. Key Responsibilities Manage, mentor, and provide career guidance for a team of 5–8 software engineers, fostering a culture of technical excellence and collaboration. Own the end-to-end delivery for assigned platform domains, including sprint planning, execution, and maintaining high standards for quality and predictability. Lead the technical direction by guiding system design, architecture, and code reviews to ensure solutions are scalable, reliable, and secure. Own and evolve internal platforms supporting the developer lifecycle, including CI/CD, Git workflows, artifact management, and observability. Drive the delivery of platform features leveraging GenAI to improve developer productivity, such as test generation and workflow automation. Ensure the operational health of platform services through robust monitoring, efficient incident response, and leading blameless post-incident reviews. Integrate security controls into the SDLC (e.g., static scanning, policy-as-code) in partnership with security teams to maintain secure defaults. Proactively collaborate and exchange information with application teams, peer managers, and product partners to accomplish shared objectives and communicate progress. Qualifications Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience. 8–12 years of software engineering experience, with a strong background in backend systems. 1–3 years of experience in a people management or technical leadership role. Strong development experience in Python and/or Go, with experience building backend services or APIs (e.g., FastAPI). Hands-on experience with Kubernetes, containers, and at least one major public cloud provider (AWS, GCP, Azure). Preferred Qualifications Experience building or operating internal developer platforms (IDPs). Familiarity with GitOps principles, Helm, and release automation tooling. Exposure to GenAI concepts such as RAG, agents, and prompt orchestration. Knowledge of observability systems (metrics, logs, traces) and SDLC security best practices (RBAC, IAM).
