Position Summary This is an amazing opportunity to be an engineer in a high-growth, high-potential startup. In this role, you will be part of the Cloud Cost Management product and responsible for architecting, designing, developing, and delivering high-quality software that has a direct impact on the company's product experience. About the Role 4–8 years of professional experience in data engineering or a closely related discipline. Expert-level proficiency in SQL, with demonstrated experience in performance optimization and dimensional data modeling. Proven experience designing and operating data platforms at petabyte scale. Hands-on expertise with modern OLAP data warehouses such as BigQuery, ClickHouse, or StarRocks. Practical experience using SQL-based transformation frameworks, including SQLMesh, dbt, or equivalent tools. Strong programming skills in Python (preferred), with working knowledge of Java and/or Go. Experience with workflow orchestration platforms such as Temporal, Apache Airflow, or Dagster. Proficiency working across major cloud platforms, including Google Cloud Platform (GCP), Amazon Web Services (AWS), and Microsoft Azure. Strong emphasis on clean architecture, data quality, testing, and automation best practices. Experience with distributed data processing engines such as Apache Spark. Familiarity with open table formats, including Apache Iceberg. Experience with Looker and LookML for analytics and dashboard modeling.
