Your New Role and Responsibilities At Leidos Australia, our Matrix Engineering Team is a hub of technical excellence, supporting mission-critical programs across Defence, Intelligence, and Federal Government portfolios. As a Midrange Engineer, you will: Manage and optimize VMware vCenter, ESXi clusters, vSAN, and related technologies. Translate customer requirements into detailed designs and supporting services for complex PaaS solutions. Develop and maintain automation for provisioning and orchestration using Ansible/Terraform; create reusable IaC modules and templates. Automate vCenter operations such as VM provisioning, patching, compliance, and policy enforcement. Produce technical documentation and provide subject matter expertise to resolve complex technical issues. What You’ll Bring to Make an Impact Extensive experience with VMware VCF solutions, plus integration with networks and other services. Demonstrated experience in both programming and infrastructure, with proficiency in automation tools like Ansible and Terraform. Proficiency in Microsoft Windows Server (2012–2022), Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and DFS. Microsoft Certified Solutions Expert (MCSE), VMware Certified Professional (VCP), and ITIL Foundation.
