Everything that makes you unique is welcome; join us and let’s build what’s next - together!</p></div><p><strong>The Role</strong><br>The Core Resource Management (CRM) team is looking for a software engineer to help us build and maintain the Kubernetes-powered platform that underpins Anaplan. We’re after someone who loves engineering, is excited by the chance to use Rust to create robust and elegant solutions, and wants to make an impact from day one.<br>Specifically, you'll be working on:</p> <ul> <li>A cost optimisation project to track and right-size the resources our customers are using.</li> <li>An event streaming project to track and respond to customer actions in Anaplan.</li> <li>Keeping the Anaplan platform unbreakable and able to support heavy customer workloads.</li> </ul> <p>These are fast-paced and strategically important projects that we hope excite you as much as they excite us.<br><br><strong>Who are you?</strong></p> <ul> <li><strong>A Strong Engineer:</strong> You're experienced in writing, releasing and supporting production-ready code.</li> <li><strong>A Quick Learner:</strong> Anaplan moves fast — you’re ready to pick up the skills your team needs and curious enough to explore beyond them.</li> <li><strong>Collaborative:</strong> You’re a team player who asks for help when needed, gives and takes feedback well, and can explain complex ideas with clarity.</li> <li><strong>Hungry Energised:</strong> You have drive, curiosity, and the motivation to achieve great things.</li> <li><strong>Confident:</strong> You bring your voice and passion to high-energy technical discussions and thrive in an environment where ideas are tested and improved together.</li> </ul> <p><br><strong>Your Qualifications</strong></p> <ul> <li><strong>Experience:</strong> 3–6 years of professional software engineering or equivalent.</li> <li><strong>Delivery:</strong> A track record of delivering complex projects into production.</li> <li><strong>DevOps:</strong> Hands-on experience deploying and maintaining services in live environments.</li> </ul> <p><br><strong>Tech we use</strong></p> <ul> <li><strong>Rust:</strong> We use Rust every day. You don’t need to be an expert yet, but prior exposure will give you a head start.</li> <li><strong>Kubernetes:</strong> Our services integrate deeply with Kubernetes. You’ll be working with it from your first week.</li> <li><strong>Helm:</strong> We install our Kubernetes applications via Helm charts, so, like Kubernetes, you'll be working with it from your first week.</li> <li><strong>Grafana:</strong> From alerts to dashboards, Grafana is what we use for observability and supporting our services.
