Our mission is to eliminate any barriers participants or caregivers experience while being part of a clinical trial. Mural Health is looking to expand our team with a Business Operations Manager. Role Location: Remote - Eastern Timezone Preferred Reports To: COO You will: Cross-Functional Project Management Lead and coordinate high-priority, cross-functional initiatives from scoping through execution, ensuring alignment across Clinical, Sales, Engineering, Product, and Finance. Act as a trusted project lead for COO-sponsored initiatives, translating strategy into structured workplans with clear owners, milestones, and accountability. Build project management standards and tooling that scale across the organization. Process Mapping Operational Efficiency Document, analyze, and redesign end-to-end business processes to eliminate bottlenecks and reduce operational friction. Partner with team leads to identify where handoffs break down and design cleaner workflows, SOPs, and decision frameworks. Champion a culture of continuous improvement — proactively surfacing inefficiencies and proposing solutions before they become problems. Breaking Down Silos Serve as a connective tissue across departments — facilitating communication, surfacing misalignments early, and fostering a culture of shared context. Create forums, rituals, and documentation practices that keep distributed and cross-functional teams informed and rowing in the same direction. Automation Scaling Identify manual, repetitive workflows and drive automation initiatives using tools like Zapier, Make, or native integrations within our tech stack. Partner with individual functions to evaluate and implement operational tooling that removes friction and enables the company to scale without adding headcount linearly. Own the build-vs-buy evaluation for operational software and internal systems. Data Integrity, KPI Tracking Dashboards Own the integrity of operational and business data — establishing definitions, resolving discrepancies, and partnering with Data/Analytics to ensure single sources of truth. Build and maintain executive and team-level dashboards that provide real-time visibility into company health and performance. Define, track, and report on company-wide KPIs in partnership with functional leads; flag risks and trends proactively to the COO. Company Operating Rhythm Own and continuously improve the company's operating cadence — including All Hands, leadership team meetings, OKR cycles and quarterly business reviews. Design agendas, pre-reads, and follow-up systems that make leadership meetings high-signal and decision-oriented. Maintain the company-wide calendar of key milestones, planning cycles, and strategic reviews. Vendor Management Manage relationships with key operational vendors — from contract negotiation and onboarding to performance reviews and renewals. Maintain a vendor registry and evaluate vendor performance against SLAs; lead RFP processes for new vendor selection. Work closely with Legal and Finance to ensure vendor agreements are compliant, cost-effective, and aligned with company risk tolerances. International Business Operations Support the operational requirements of our international expansion — including entity setup, compliance coordination, and cross-border workflow design.
