Senior Electrical Manufacturing Engineer

Position Overview: Velo3D is seeking a motivated Senior Electrical Manufacturing Engineer to join our team in our manufacturing facility in Fremont, CA.  In this role, you will drive continuous improvement and sustaining projects, resolve manufacturing issues, and ensure product reliability/quality through the product lifecycles. You will influence all aspects of production including new design solutions, product development, and subsystem assembly at local and global contract manufacturers. You will be involved in system assembly and integration testing.  Responsibilities include researching, developing, designing, testing, evaluating, creating drawings and schematics, and developing documentation for electrical components, subassemblies, equipment, and systems while applying principles and techniques of electrical engineering. The ideal candidate works well in a fast-paced and dynamic environment, has a “take-charge” and “can-do” attitude, and can demonstrate flexibility and resiliency.  The candidate has the ability to collaborate cross functionally and has hands-on experience building, assessing, and executing complex assembly iterations.
