ABOUT THE ROLE The Senior Supply Chain Specialist is a critical role responsible for optimizing and enhancing our end-to-end supply chain processes. This individual will play a pivotal role in ensuring the efficient flow of goods and information, from sourcing raw materials to delivering finished products to customers. They will leverage their extensive experience to analyze existing processes, identify areas for improvement, manage complex projects, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive efficiency, reduce costs, and improve customer satisfaction and supply chain resilience. Key Responsibilities: Supply Chain Strategy Optimization Inventory Management Planning Procurement Supplier Management Data Analysis Reporting Project Management Process Improvement Cross-functional Collaboration Risk Management Required Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field. Minimum of 5-7 years of progressive experience in supply chain, logistics, procurement, or operations roles, with at least 2 years in a specialist or senior capacity. Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, data analysis functions). Strong experience with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, NetSuite, Dynamics 365) and/or specialized SCM software. Proficiency in data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI) is a plus. Proven ability to analyze complex data sets, identify trends, and develop data-driven solutions. Exceptional critical thinking and problem-solving abilities with a proactive approach to identifying and resolving issues. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present complex information clearly and concisely to diverse audiences. Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and deliver results on time and within budget. Preferred Qualifications: Master's degree in Supply Chain Management or a related field. Certifications such as APICS CSCP (Certified Supply Chain Professional), CPIM (Certified in Production and Inventory Management), or SCOR-P. Lean Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt certification. Experience in a specific industry relevant to Automotive, Aviation or high tech engineering. Knowledge of international trade regulations, customs, and freight forwarding (if applicable). The salary range for this role is an estimate based on a wide range of compensation factors, inclusive of base salary only.
