Senior Software Engineer - Core Data Infrastructure

Zoox’s Core Data Infrastructure team is looking for a passionate software engineer to support our robot data transmission pipeline at scale across numerous cities. Your contributions will be critical to bringing our service to production. Responsibilities will cover high-bandwidth logging (several GB/min), data offload telemetry, large-scale data transmission and high performance networking. Great candidates will be comfortable working at our headquarters, in the field at Zoox depots, and occasionally in the vehicles themselves. Candidates will do daily software feature development, while regularly supporting operational teams and network planning with our network operations team. Critical thinking, system design and an architectural mindset will be essential to being successful in this role.
