Responsibilities: Build high-quality, clean, scalable and reusable code by enforcing best practices around software engineering architecture and processes (Code Reviews, Unit testing, etc.) Work with the product owners to understand detailed requirements and own your code from design, implementation, test automation, and delivery of high-quality products to our users Work in a fast-paced CI/CD Kanban environment and participate actively in feature development and bug resolution Capability to manage multiple projects with material-technical risk across teams and processes; may serve as a functional lead or technical owner. Work on several Reputation products to extend functionality and to maintain zero customer-reported bugs. Be a mentor for colleagues and help promote knowledge-sharing Additional duties as assigned. Qualifications: 5+ years of experience in designing & implementing highly interactive UI for high-volume robust web applications Solid programming skills in JavaScript and experience building reusable components using JavaScript libraries such as React and Node.js Advanced knowledge of data structures, algorithms, object-oriented design, design patterns, and performance/scale considerations Advanced knowledge with NoSQL databases, such as MongoDB, Elasticsearch, and Big Query, including development, troubleshooting, and performance optimization. Observability experience or willingness to learn Experience working in a Cloud environment and developing scalable, distributed systems. User-Centric: You have a strong sense of empathy for the end-user and are driven to improve their experience Technical Skills: Comfortable with data-intensive applications and distributed systems Nice to Have: A portion of our platform is built with Java and Spring Boot; experience with these technologies is helpful for building scalable and efficient backend services. Experience using GoLang to build and optimize data pipelines.
