You will work directly with Mislav Ilich https://www.linkedin.com/in/mislav-ilich/ (Director Product) and Roberto Fajardo https://www.linkedin.com/in/robertoafjr/ (SVP Engineering) owning topics critical to Upvest’s product and business success: ENABLE & EMPOWER UPVEST’S HYPERSCALING GROWTH ALONGSIDE ITS CLIENTS: Upvest is currently processing over 9 million orders per Month and growing fast. Your task is to understand the needs of Upvest Product Engineering as well as Upvest’s client needs during this growth phase. To be successful you will guide the Platform tribes teams to deliver on the overarching platform vision while making clear tradeoffs along the way to enable Upvest to meet its business goals. You will embed design thinking & future extensibility in early and scrappy MVPs to mature mission critical infrastructure components. You will iterate fast with the platform engineers and have a strong bias towards execution and delivering meaningful value for Upvest as a business and Product Engineering. OWN THE PLATFORM DELIVERY, ROADMAP & STRATEGY: Upvest is on a mission to make investing as easy as spending money and we aim to empower 100 million people to invest via our Investment API. With support of engineering & product leadership, your mission is to help define the platform engineering strategy that will enable us to be successful towards that goal. Own & validate the platform team's roadmap and importantly lead the delivery of a market leading cloud infrastructure and tools that enables our product engineers to deliver value to clients fast, reliably and securely.
