ABOUT THE TEAM
The Anduril Imaging team develops state-of-the-art imaging systems across both hardware and software, deployed to tackle the most significant security challenges of America and its allies. The team is heavily involved in utilizing computer vision, perception, electro-optical, infrared, and sensor data to give our war fighters and allies an advantage.
ABOUT THE JOB
As a Camera Test Engineer, you will play a key role in ensuring our systems meet stringent quality standards, contributing to the consistent delivery of high-quality products to our customers. This role requires creative problem-solving to address challenging testing issues and a drive to continuously improve our automation methods, throughput, user interfaces, and data analytics. We are looking for someone with an eagerness to learn and adapt within fast-paced, highly technical, and interdisciplinary teams. Excellent communication skills are essential for collaborating across teams to quickly and effectively resolve production issues.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
Support and optimize production test activities, including hands-on troubleshooting of complex infrared systems and maintaining test equipment for precision and reliability.
Develop and maintain software for test automation, data analytics, and report generation.
Conduct root cause analysis of product failures, develop troubleshooting guides, and collaborate with engineering teams on corrective actions and failure analysis.
Generate clear test work instructions for technicians and provide training on equipment usage.
Analyze test data, document findings, and generate detailed reports to identify defects, provide feedback for product enhancements, and support continuous improvement initiatives.
Contribute feedback to early-stage test design for new product introduction (NPI) processes.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor’s degree in Physics, Electrical/Electronics, Computer, Mechanical Engineering, or a related technical field.
Experience or coursework involving data acquisition and processing with tools like MATLAB, Python, or other programming languages.
Familiarity with test automation and report generation concepts.
Foundational understanding of root cause analysis principles for hardware, software, and firmware, with a desire to develop these skills further.
Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
Exposure to or coursework involving the integration of electrical, opto-mechanical, and software/firmware systems.
Eligible to obtain and maintain an active U.S. Secret security clearance.
US Salary Range
$86,000
$114,000 USD
The salary range for this role is an estimate based on a wide range of compensation factors, inclusive of base salary only. Actual salary offer may vary based on (but not limited to) work experience, education and/or training, critical skills, and/or business considerations.
