ABOUT THE JOB: We are seeking a Quality Technician to join our growing team in Lexington, MA . In this role you will play a key part in ensuring that our manufacturing processes and products meet high-quality standards. Your responsibilities will include conducting inspections, analyzing data, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to implement effective quality assurance protocols. WHAT YOU’LL DO Perform incoming inspection, in-process inspection and end of line inspection. Ensure Inspection areas follow processes and best practices associated with inspection work instructions, procedures, and tools. Collaborate with Quality Engineering in the creation of inspection plans for incoming materials, parts, and assemblies from suppliers and monitor their compliance Execute on the equipment calibration and material shelf-life verification programs Support Material review board processes Support internal and external audits on processes and procedures. Review and propose continuous improvement projects for productivity gains, quality improvements, and benefits to Anduril's quality policy. REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS Technical or Associates degree in related quality/mechanical/aerospace engineering field 3+ years of Quality and/or Manufacturing experience within the Aerospace industry Experience with Calibrated equipment (calipers, micrometers, multimeters, oscilloscopes, network analyzers, CMM etc.) Experience reading and interpreting engineering drawings (wire diagrams, work instructions, CAD) Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GDT) knowledge, understanding dimension and tolerancing Experience with inspection of machined parts and mechanical assemblies Experience with inspection of Electrical and Electronic Components (Power Supplies, PCBs, wire-harnesses) Experience in a facility with AS9100, ISO9001, IATF 16949 or similar QMS standard. Ability to rapidly change roles/responsibilities while working in a fast paced, challenging work environment. Ability to effectively communicate (verbal and written) with engineering and production. Ability to lift 25 lbs unassisted Understanding of FAIR, COC, production metrics Eligible to obtain and maintain an active U.S. Secret security clearance PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field of study IPC-A-610 or IPC-A-620 Certification Experience with Manufacturing processes and their related systems (Jira, MES, ERP, Teamcenter, CAD) Experience with auditing processes and procedures in a manufacturing environment Detail oriented self starter with minimal oversight - strong ability to communicate with different cross functional teams.
