Senior Product Designer (Student Loans) - Canada At NerdWallet, we’re on a mission to bring clarity to all of life’s financial decisions and every great mission needs a team of exceptional Nerds. We’ve built an inclusive, flexible, and candid culture where you’re empowered to grow, take smart risks, and be unapologetically yourself (cape optional). Whether remote or in-office, we support how you thrive best. We invest in your well-being, development, and ability to make an impact because when one Nerd levels up, we all do. This is a senior level role where you’ll drive measurable outcomes through experimentation, insight, and close partnership with Product, Engineering, and Growth. YOUR EXPERIENCE: - 5+ years designing consumer-facing digital products, with a strong portfolio demonstrating measurable business impact - Experience designing fintech or regulated product experiences (loans, credit, refinancing, or financial comparison tools) - Proven ability to independently lead research, experimentation, and end-to-end design - Expertise in Figma and modern prototyping tools - Strong understanding of UX for high-intent acquisition funnels and conversion optimization - Experience designing complex, multi-step workflows with disclosures or compliance requirements - Ability to synthesize qualitative and quantitative insights into clear recommendations - Strong communication skills and comfort partnering across Product, Engineering, and Growth teams WHERE: - This is a remote position and a person can be located anywhere in Canada (with the exception of Quebec). - NerdWallet is proud to be a remote-first company!
