We currently partner with over 60 school districts, including Kaiser Permanente, reaching more than one million students across the U.S. Our clinicians benefit from a stable caseload and consistent referrals.
We are seeking licensed mental health clinicians to provide teletherapy services to students ages 11-24 throughout California. As a Remote Mental Health Therapist, you will deliver high-quality care while collaborating with schools, caregivers, and community partners to ensure student success.
Key Benefits
Competitive Compensation:
W-2:
$55,000–$115,000 annual (bi-weekly standardized payment)
Flexible Schedule:
Set your hours Monday–Friday (3-8 PM) with optional weekends (9am-5pm)
Caseload Commitment:
We ask you to commit to a caseload of
25 sessions per week , with a target minimum of
17 completed sessions per week
(averaged over the course of the month) to maintain your base salary and full benefits package.
Full Benefits (W-2):

Daybreak covers around 90% of medical premiums, and 100% of dental and vision premiums for W2 employees
Daybreak covers around 65% of medical, dental, and vision premiums for all eligible dependents

We handle billing, credentialing, and scheduling so you can focus on care

Qualifications
Licensed Professional with
LCSW ,
LPCC , or
LMFT
credentials in the
State of California
Experience working with youth and families in clinical or school settings
Strong telehealth skills and reliable high-speed Internet connection
Commitment to culturally responsive care and equity
Availability for at least 5 hours weekly during peak hours (3-8 PM M-F) for 1099 contractors
Role Responsibilities
Provide evidence-based individual teletherapy to students ages 11–24 with mild-to-moderate mental health conditions
Build trusted relationships with students and families
Provide psychoeducation to parents/caregivers
Minimum caseload: W-2 full-time requires at least 25 time slots with a minimum of 17 completed sessions per week.
