Job Description

Role Summary The Production SPC Operator is responsible for monitoring, recording, and analyzing Statistical Process Control (SPC) data during production to ensure product quality and compliance with food safety standards. This role requires strong attention to detail, bilingual communication skills, and the ability to work closely with Quality Assurance and Production teams to maintain consistency and accuracy in manufacturing processes. Key Responsibilities Perform SPC checks at defined intervals during production runs. Record and analyze data for weight, temperature, and quality parameters. Communicate deviations or non-conformances immediately to the Plant Manager and Production Leader. Support QA with pre-op inspections, label verification, and GMP audits. Assist with rework activities, ensuring proper documentation and label/date checks. Maintain clean and organized work areas, scales, and equipment. Collaborate with QA and Production teams to ensure compliance with food safety and allergen control requirements. Provide accurate reports and documentation for audits and regulatory reviews. Qualifications 1–2 years of experience in food manufacturing or food distribution. Experience with SPC, quality checks, and inventory control preferred. Bilingual (English/Spanish) required. Forklift certification a plus. Strong attention to detail and ability to reconcile discrepancies. Proficient in basic reporting tools (Google Sheets or Microsoft Excel). Ability to work in temperature-controlled environments (coolers and freezers). Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. Success Looks Like Accurate and timely SPC data collection and reporting. Reduced quality deviations and improved consistency in production. Audit-ready documentation and strong compliance with food safety standards. Clear communication between QA, Production, and Plant Management. Additional Expectations Weekend work or extended hours may be required during peak periods.
