As a Senior Software Engineer, you will build the critical software that powers our cutting-edge hardware—specifically our Enso pain relief device. You won’t just be writing code; you will be the glue between our hardware, firmware, and mobile experiences. We are looking for a versatile engineer who thrives in a full-stack environment (React Native, Node.js, TypeScript) and isn't afraid to dive into Bluetooth protocols, complex state management, or backend services to deliver a seamless pain relief experience for our members. WHAT YOU'LL ACHIEVE - In your first 3 months: You will immerse yourself in our "Spidey" ecosystem, shipping your first features for the Enso experience. You’ll build relationships with Product, Design, and Hardware partners and gain a solid understanding of our mobile-to-device architecture. - In your first 6 months: You will lead the end-to-end delivery of a key initiative (e.g., supporting new Enso hardware capabilities or new treatment programs). You will actively improve our developer tooling and contribute to architectural decisions that increase the reliability of our device connectivity. - In your first year: You will act as a technical owner for a major domain within the Devices Software group. You will be a go-to expert for navigating complex hardware-software challenges, mentoring junior engineers, and driving our "Think Long-Term" strategy for Enso integration. WHO YOU ARE - A Versatile Problem Solver: You refuse to be pigeonholed. Whether it's debugging a race condition in React Native, optimizing a backend resolver in Node.js, or troubleshooting a Bluetooth handshake, you jump in and get it done. - A "Learn-it-all": You don’t have all the answers, but you have a proven framework for finding them—especially when working with the ambiguity of hardware-software integration. - A Trust Builder: You communicate effectively across engineering, firmware, and clinical teams to align on shared goals, translating technical constraints into product solutions. - Resilient: You thrive in fast-paced environments and can "Make Results Happen" even when the path forward isn't perfectly defined. BASIC REQUIREMENTS - 5+ years of software engineering experience, with a track record of shipping high-quality consumer-facing applications. - Strong Full-Stack proficiency: Deep experience with Python, React Native (or React), and Node.js backend services. - Architectural ownership: Proven ability to break down complex problems, design scalable systems, and own features from concept to production. - Quality mindset: Experience writing robust tests (unit, integration, e2e) and maintaining high code quality standards. PREFERRED REQUIREMENTS - Backend Depth: Experience with Python, Nest, GraphQL, Postgres, and AWS ecosystems. - Mobile Depth: Experience with React Native.
