Yard Technician

A Yard Technician maintains, cleans, organizes, and inspects heavy construction equipment to ensure operational efficiency, safety, and cleanliness. This position is part of the IOUE Local No. 17C union. Responsibilities Perform specific tasks associated with the cleaning of equipment and maintenance of company facilities. Use pressure washer and steam cleaner to wash equipment. Performing detailed cleaning of purchased equipment before delivery. Perform detailed cleaning of purchased equipment before delivery. Move equipment from one location to another as needed. Change attachments on new and rental equipment. Pick up and deliver parts using a company vehicle. Order supplies needed for wash rack and keep area clean of debris. Qualifications Possess good communication skills- oral written. Ability to work well with co-workers, and customers to perform your duties in a safe manner. Basic computer knowledge. Possession of a current and valid driver's license with a motor vehicle record that meets the insurance requirements. High school diploma or equivalent. Operating equipment, forklift and delivery truck. Forklift certified a plus.
