About the team The Product Design team is composed of several teams that work together to help define, create, and deliver all user-facing aspects of the Stripe brand and product. Product Designers are strategic partners to Engineering and Product Management within a dedicated product area. In partnership with the product team, they help define the user-facing experiences our users encounter on Stripe products, then translate that thinking into a complete experience that can be tested, shipped, and refined. They are responsible for creating well-functioning and beautiful products and experiences that users love and are eager to recommend to others. The Stripe Dashboard makes the simple things easy and the complex things possible for millions of businesses around the globe. We deliver products and experiences for all Stripe users including Startups, SMBs, Enterprises, and major platforms. Since our user base is so broad, it is essential that the experiences we build are configurable, customizable, and extensible. We take pride in crafting user-friendly and user-focused experiences. What you’ll do As part of the Money Management Design team, you will lead the design efforts for our global-by-default money management suite. We are building the rails for the next generation of commerce, where stablecoins move at the speed of the internet. As a Product Designer for the Crypto team, you will be responsible for designing the critical infrastructure that allows users to move from traditional fiat into the digital asset economy. You will own the design of a product that requires a deep focus on conversion and trust. Your work will range from designing Stripe-hosted standalone experiences to Embedded Components that live natively within decentralized apps, wallets, and NFT marketplaces. You will craft the logic that abstracts away the friction of KYC, fraud detection, and multi-chain settlement into a seamless one-click checkout. You’ll utilize a broad set of product design skills, from high-fidelity UI design to complex system mapping, to ensure that while the backend infrastructure (smart contracts, multi-chain settlement) is complex, the user experience remains as simple and reliable as traditional Stripe payments. Responsibilities Own the end-to-end product design process from discovery through delivery. Design seamless on-ramp and off-ramp experiences that allow businesses to move between fiat (ACH, SEPA) and stablecoin rails (Ethereum, Solana, Polygon, Base). Lead the design for our Native Mobile SDKs. You will ensure that onramping feels like a first-class feature within a third-party app, rather than a jarring external redirect. Collaborate with engineering, product, and other stakeholders to shape the team’s roadmap and goals from an impactful and measurable customer outcomes perspective. Leverage insights from our UXR team to identify opportunity areas, and to validate potential solutions to pain points. Partner with content design to craft compelling experiences that deliver the right information at the right time to the right user.
