Job Description
**Job title: PTR Accounting Associate **
About the role: You will support the department by collecting and analyzing information from the General Ledger, bank statements, accounting, and company systems. You will spend a significant amount of your time leading the team and providing guidance, analyzing accounts being migrated to Intacct, and making application improvements to reconcile all accounts in Intacct.
**Responsibilities: **
1. Provide the team with all the necessary information to perform the Bank reconciliation and ensure that the payroll tax reconciliations are sent and completed within the stablished closing time.
2. Propose solutions to the problems that arise on a day-to-day basis and during the closing.
3. Assist with preparation and responses for audits requirements by the client.
4. Support in the selection of new hires and give for new people within the team.
5. Keep a status of the operation and send when necessary and/or required by client.
6. Respond to all requests sent by the client in a timely manner
7. Supervising and maintaining quality work within the department and meeting client deadlines
8. Support with all administrative tasks required
9. Assist the direct supervisor with day-to-day assignments
10. Assist in the transition of bank accounts to Intacct.
**Skills: **
· A technical degree in accounting (or equivalent experience) · 1 Years Experience in accounting. · **Excellent computer skills a must! Excel skills including fluent with Pivot Tables and formulas, Word, and E-mail. **
· English as a second language is required. · Possibilities to modify work schedule is a plus.
