Red Control Lead The Opportunity: As a defense mission professional, you ask questions others don’t. You understand the nuances of complex situations. What You'll Work On: Assist in overseeing and mentoring 10-15 OPFOR SMEs. Attend Event Life Cycle (ELC) events as required. Assist in development, maintenance, and updating of internal SOPs and policies. Ensure all Contract Deliverable Requirements List (CDRL) requirements are submitted on time and that they meet or exceed standards. Deploy to forward locations to assist with OPFOR operations on occasion. Ensure all new team members are trained on the Joint Land Component Constructive Capability and that existing team members retain proficiency. Oversee unit database scrubs and unit lay downs and start file builds. Run a shift in Red Senior Control opposite the Chief during training events and respond to requests from the Exercise Control Group (ECG) and the Team Chief. Ensure the OPFOR Commander’s intent is executed in JLCCTC and ensures all operations are compliant with current applicable OPFOR doctrine. During exercise execution, assist in oversight of approximately 100 part-time on call employees. Join us. The world can’t wait. You Have: Experience with Microsoft Word and PowerPoint Knowledge of Army and Joint regulations and doctrine Ability to travel to CONUS and OCONUS locations up to 20% of the time Secret clearance HS diploma or GED and 10+ years of experience in the military, or Bachelor's degree and 5+ years of experience in the military Nice If You Have: Experience as a field grade officer, warrant officer, or sergeant major Experience serving in a key developmental position at brigade or battalion level Experience with Constructive Simulation Models such as Joint Land Component Constructive Training Capability (JLCCTC) or Warfighters Simulation (WARSIM) Experience working with the Mission Command Training Program (MCTP) Knowledge of FM 7-100 series OPFOR doctrine Possession of excellent problem-solving skills Possession of excellent organizational and time management skills Possess excellent written and verbal communication skills and a customer-focused approach Master's degree Clearance: Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; Secret clearance is required. Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $61,900.00 to $141,000.00 (annualized USD).
