**About the Role**
As a Cloud Partner Manager at Uber, you will be the strategic glue between our internal engineering teams and our global cloud service providers. You aren’t just managing a vendor; you are orchestrating a high-stakes ecosystem. You will own the health of these strategic relationships, ensuring that our cloud partners deliver the performance, reliability, and innovation required to power Uber’s global scale.
You will act as a diplomat, an advocate, and an operational lead—balancing executive-level strategy with the technical "nitty-gritty" of incident response and contract optimization.

#### **1\. Strategic Relationship Management**
1. **Relationship Ownership:** Build and maintain high-impact relationships across executive, business, and technical tiers within partner organizations.
2. **Advocacy:** Represent Uber’s technical priorities in partner roadmap reviews and beta programs to ensure their future products meet our future needs.
3. **Governance:** Lead Quarterly Business Reviews (QBRs) and executive briefings to maintain strategic alignment and transparency.
4. **Escalation Path:** Serve as the primary point of contact for critical partner-related issues, including service outages and support delays.
#### **2\. Operational Excellence & Incident Response**
1. **Crisis Coordination:** Oversee partner participation in incident responses and Root Cause Analysis (RCA) processes.
2. **Code Yellow Leadership:** Facilitate technical "Code Yellow" meetings with partner teams and Uber leadership, driving deep-dive technical resolutions until exit criteria are met.
3. **SLA Oversight:** Ensure partners consistently meet uptime and support commitments; track and close all pending RCA action items.
4. **Resource Management:** Manage external engagements and contractors, ensuring they are scoped correctly and delivering value.
