I lead the Inbound Sales Development team here at Customer.io, and we’re growing. We’re looking for an Inbound SDR to join our EMEA team and help us connect with potential customers. As an Inbound SDR, you’ll be the first person prospects talk to when they reach out to us. Your role will be all about understanding their needs, qualifying them, and setting up meetings for our Account Executives. You’ll work closely with both our marketing and sales teams to make sure our leads are top-notch and help us build a strong pipeline. We don’t expect you to be an expert in everything right away. What matters most is that you’re curious, love talking to people, and are eager to make an impact. You’ll have full support from our team to learn and grow. What we value Curiosity — you ask good questions and love learning Clear communication — you can explain complex things simply Resilience — you stay motivated even when faced with rejection Organization — you keep track of details and follow through Collaboration — you work well across teams and take feedback seriously Drive — you’re self-motivated and love hitting your goals What you’ll do Be the first point of contact for inbound leads — understand their needs and kick off the qualification process Qualify leads from various sources (website, product trials, etc.) to determine fit and readiness to speak with an Account Executive Schedule high-quality meetings between decision-makers and our sales team Maintain accurate records of lead interactions and pipeline status in our CRM Collaborate with marketing to ensure lead quality and provide feedback to improve our process Follow up with prospects who have expressed interest but aren’t yet ready to move forward Regularly update your manager and team on pipeline health and progress toward goals What we're looking for Located in either United Kingdom or Ireland (hard requirement) Comfort talking to people and a natural ability to communicate clearly Resilience with rejection and the motivation to keep going Strong organizational skills and attention to detail Familiarity with CRM tools like Salesforce or HubSpot A track record of meeting goals for lead qualification and meeting scheduling Comfort working in a fast-paced, target-driven environment Preferred: 1–2 years of experience in a similar role, ideally in SaaS or tech Prior experience in inbound sales at a SaaS company Familiarity with marketing automation and lead nurturing processes Compensation Benefits We believe in transparency. The compensation for this role is $60,000 base + $27,768 variable = $87,768 USD OTE (or equivalent in local currency) depending on experience and subject to market rate adjustment.
