The Opportunity
We are hiring a Materials Specialist (First Shift) on the Radar Supply Chain Management team. In this role you will be responsible for overseeing all activities related to receiving, storing, monitoring and tracking the movement of LeoLabs parts, equipment supplies. The ideal candidate will ensure accurate inventory records, timely replenishment of materials, and compliance with company policies.
In support of the Radar Hardware and Supply Chain Teams, your contribution will directly help mature our manufacturing efforts as we ramp up our radar deployment schedule.
With locations around the world, you will maintain accurate reporting, perform cycle counts and reconciliation, process inbound/outbound shipments, and provide support to our Logistics team. This role will be fundamental to our ERP (NetSuite) implementation and maintenance of all transactions. The ideal candidate will have experience working in a fast-paced environment and be comfortable with competing priorities.
This role requires keen attention to detail, ability to work independently and implementation of new processes. You will join the Radar Deployments Group and report to the Associate Director of Supply Chain Management.
This is an on-site role at our Headquarters in Menlo Park, CA, 5 days a week.
Responsibilities
Execute receiving, storing, picking, kitting, packing, and shipping activities in support of manufacturing, RD, and deployment operations
Process and validate all inventory transactions within ERP system to ensure real-time accuracy and data integrity
Control and reconcile material movement between warehouse and hardware assembly areas to maintain full traceability
Prepare and stage material kits in alignment with engineering builds and production schedules
Monitor inventory levels and collaborate with Supply Chain Management (SCM) to proactively address shortages, excess, or allocation risks
Perform cycle counts and variance analysis; investigate discrepancies and implement corrective actions as needed
Coordinate domestic and international shipments, ensuring compliance with documentation, export controls, and internal procedures
Inspect, evaluate, and reconcile returned materials against system records and deployment documentation
Support material readiness for production by ensuring timely receipt, accurate system entry, and proper storage of goods
Identify and recommend process improvements to enhance material flow efficiency, inventory accuracy, and operational scalability
Qualifications
3+ years of experience in inventory control, materials management, or warehouse operations within a manufacturing or supply chain environment
Demonstrated experience processing and reconciling inventory transactions in ERP/MRP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, NetSuite) with basic proficiency in Microsoft Excel
Experience investigating and resolving inventory discrepancies, including cycle count variance analysis
Ability to lift to 65lbs and safely palletize goods for outbound shipment
