The ideal candidate will be highly organized, proactive, and comfortable operating in a fast-paced environment. This role requires strong prospecting discipline, excellent communication skills, and the ability to collaborate closely with a field sales partner to build a pipeline and drive revenue growth.
Responsibilities
• Partner closely with the assigned Senior Account Executive to drive pipeline creation across the territory.
• Identify and prospect new organizations that fit the SolarWinds ITSM ideal customer profile.
• Engage SolarWinds’ existing customer base to identify accounts that have not yet adopted Service Desk and initiate conversations around ITSM opportunities.
• Execute targeted outbound campaigns through phone, email, and social outreach to generate qualified meetings.
• Qualify inbound and outbound leads and convert them into sales opportunities.
• Research accounts to understand organizational structure, technology environment, and potential ITSM use cases.
• Schedule discovery calls, product demonstrations, and meetings for the Senior Account Executive.
• Maintain accurate records of prospecting activity, pipeline creation, and opportunity progression within Salesforce.
• Collaborate with marketing and partner teams to support campaigns, events, and territory initiatives.
• Support regional events, workshops, and field activities to help generate and qualify the pipeline.
• Maintain disciplined follow-up with prospects to progress early-stage opportunities.
Qualifications
• 2–5 years of experience in inside sales, SDR, or business development roles within a SaaS or enterprise software environment.
• Strong interest in pursuing a long-term career in enterprise sales.
• Proven ability to generate pipeline through outbound prospecting and lead qualification.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple prospects simultaneously.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, metrics-driven sales environment.
• Experience using Salesforce or similar CRM platforms.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience preferred.
