You will lead a team dedicated to building and scaling our platform for a mobile-first world. This is a unique opportunity to drive the technical strategy for our award-winning planning technology and shape the future of mobile at Anaplan. We are looking for a passionate and collaborative leader with a deep technical background. In this role, you will own the architecture, establish best practices, and mentor a team of engineers to deliver a seamless, intuitive, and powerful mobile experience to our customers. Your Impact Lead the development and own the architecture of our React Native application, ensuring it is high-quality, scalable, and performant. Drive the vision for the mobile user experience by translating complex product requirements into a clear technical roadmap. Partner with product managers and engineering leaders to define feature requirements and set the technical direction for the mobile team. Own and evolve the CI/CD pipeline for our mobile applications, championing automation and best practices in testing and release processes. Tackle the most complex technical challenges in a mobile environment, including architecture, state management, and performance optimization. Mentor and guide a team of engineers, fostering their technical and professional growth and setting the standard for engineering excellence. Champion code quality, architectural consistency, and sound engineering practices, leading by example and through thoughtful code reviews. Core Qualifications Excellent problem-solving skills and a proven track record of architecting well-designed, scalable systems. Deep expertise in React Native , JavaScript (ES2015+) and TypeScript. Proven leadership ability, with a collaborative mindset and the skills to guide technical decisions and mentor other engineers. Helpful Experience Extensive experience building, shipping, and maintaining large-scale applications using React Native. Strong experience with native mobile development (Swift/Objective-C for iOS or Kotlin/Java for Android). Expertise in front-end architecture, state management libraries (like Redux), and designing complex, responsive UIs for mobile platforms. A deep understanding of the process and challenges of deploying apps to the Apple App Store and Google Play Store. Experience with cloud platforms, specifically AWS EC2 , for deploying and managing applications.
