ABOUT THE JOB: We are looking for a Senior Construction Project Manager to join our rapidly growing team in Costa Mesa CA. This individual with help us bring our growing test site portfolio to life. This role involves rapid operational troubleshooting, process redesign, and managing high-impact strategic projects—such as new site launches and construction management. Success in this position requires a solid understanding of the business levers, with active engagement across program management, engineering, production, and central GA teams. WHAT YOU'LL DO Own operational projects end-to-end, from definition, to solution development, to implementation. You will be handed ambiguous problems with little prescription on how to solve them. The role will ask you to couple first principles thinking with creative and iterative analysis to fully detail the impacts of potential decisions. Collaborate with the corporate real estate team on construction projects to ensure our teams’ requirements are being met and the projects are being delivered on time and on budget Translate requirements to facilities requirements for new builds and retrofits by closely collaborating with business leads. Project manage across large groups of stakeholders including, leading large meetings, managing large Slack channels, and wrangling stakeholders towards a solution. Maintain strong relationships with contractors, consultants, vendors, and authorities having jurisdiction. Collaborate closely with external project management teams to ensure alignment of construction activities with overall project objectives. Facilitate regular meetings with external project managers to discuss project updates, resource allocation, and potential challenges. REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS 7+ years of working experience with a minimum of 3+ years in a construction, operations, or product/program management role. Travel 50% to Texas Demonstrated expertise in stakeholder and executive engagement, this role will have significant leadership visibility. You should be comfortable and skilled in balancing when to pull in leaders into the problem solving process and when you should lead independent change Strong emotional intelligence and ability to solve operational problems not only from a data-driven lens, but also in a people-centric way by building strong cross functional relationships across the company and within the hardware engineering organization. Strong background in design advisory, pre-construction, and project kickoff/setup. Extreme orderliness when it comes to document control. Excellent project management skills, with a proven track record of delivering large-scale projects on time and within budget. You have an appetite to build clear frameworks to structure problems. Combined ability to execute on a tactical level as well as put together a strategy to solve complex, ambiguous, cross-functional problems. You are comfortable rolling up your sleeves and diving deep into executing operational tasks that require high attention to detail and high organization skills, but you can also zoom out at a 30,000 foot level to create a strategy that solves high level problems for the business line, division, and company.
