The Role We’re hiring a People Operations Coordinator to support the day-to-day administrative operations that keep our People team running smoothly. Peregrine’s greatest asset is our people, and this high-volume, detail-driven role sits at the operational core of our employee lifecycle. You will manage employee data updates, support payroll and benefits administration, maintain accurate and confidential records, and ensure that People workflows are executed with precision. We’re looking for someone highly organized, systems-oriented, and takes pride in getting the details right. What You’ll Do Own and execute employee lifecycle transactions, including hires, job changes, promotions, compensation updates, transfers, and terminations within our HR systems. Maintain accurate employee records across systems, ensuring data integrity and timely updates. Administer benefits workflows, including enrollments, qualifying life event changes, and employee support. Manage leave tracking and documentation, ensuring records are organized and up to date. Maintain People Operations documentation, internal trackers, and process guides. Support reporting needs by building dashboards related to headcount, turnover, and other People metrics. Monitor and manage the People team inbox, responding promptly and professionally to employee inquiries. Identify opportunities to streamline administrative workflows and improve operational efficiency. What We’re Looking For 2–4 years of experience in People Operations, HR administration, payroll support, or a related operational role in a high-growth technology company. Strong attention to detail and comfort managing high-volume administrative work. Proficient experience within an HRIS platform (Rippling preferred). Skilled analytical execution with spreadsheets and structured data in Google Sheets or Excel. Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple deadlines and workflows simultaneously. Clear, professional written and verbal communication skills. Located in San Francisco, California and willing to work in our office 4x/week. S alary Range: $75,000 - $90,000 Annually + Benefits + Equity (if applicable) + Bonus (if applicable) Actual compensation is influenced by a wide array of factors including but not limited to skill set, level of experience, and specific work location.
