ABOUT THE TEAM:
The Business Systems team is responsible for building and optimizing the many systems and internal technologies that enables Anduril to accomplish its mission. Anduril's supply chain, accounting, sales growth, field maintenance, manufacturing, and many more teams rely on the technology built and maintained by us. We call this system-of-systems "ArsenalOS".
ABOUT THE JOB
We are seeking a highly motivated New Graduate Software Engineer to join our engineering team. You will be part of a collaborative environment where you’ll build features, fix bugs, and contribute to scalable systems used by internal and external customers. You will work closely with senior engineers and product owners to deliver high-impact software solutions. This role is suited for recent graduates (within ~2 year of graduation) or soon-to-graduate students of BS/MS in Computer Science or a related technical field.
WHAT YOU"LL DO:
Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code to implement new features and automate workflows.
Participate in a full software development lifecycle: design, code, test, deploy, and monitor.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams (product, QA, design) to translate requirements into scalable technical solutions.
Debug complex problems and contribute to improvement of existing systems and infrastructure.
Participate in design discussions, code reviews, and team planning sessions.
Demonstrate a commitment to quality, test coverage, and robust engineering practices.
Communicate technical decisions clearly with stakeholders (peers, managers, and product owners).
Proactively seek feedback from mentors/seniors, and demonstrate continuous learning and growth.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
BS, MS, or equivalent experience in Computer Science, Engineering, or related technical discipline.
Strong programming skills in at least one language (e.g., Python, Java, Rust, Go, TypeScript).
Understanding of data structures, algorithms, and software engineering fundamentals.
Ability to break down problems and articulate solutions clearly.
Passion for building software, positive learning attitude, and ability to work in a team.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Contributions to significant projects (open source, internship or personal).
Experience in distributed systems, databases, backend services, or scalable API design.
Exposure to version control systems (e.g., git) and automated testing frameworks.
Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure) or containerized environments (Docker, Kubernetes).
Understanding of basic security, performance, and reliability trade-offs.
US Salary Range
$99,000
$149,000 USD
The salary range for this role is an estimate based on a wide range of compensation factors, inclusive of base salary only. Actual salary offer may vary based on (but not limited to) work experience, education and/or training, critical skills, and/or business considerations. Highly competitive equity grants are included in the majority of full time offers; and are considered part of Anduril's total compensation package.
