We're looking for a lawyer with strong experience advising on commercial and technology matters to join our legal team. You'll be working in an exciting and constantly evolving environment while establishing relationships cross-functionally with our sales, strategic partnerships, and other teams to close contracts with our customers and partners.
This is a full time role that can be held from our London hub on a hybrid basis.
What you’ll do at Figma:
Draft, review, and negotiate agreements with a wide array of customers, working closely with our sales team and relevant stakeholders
Support our partnership team in signing on strategic partners
Collaborate to design, implement, and improve Figma’s legal policies and procedures to manage legal and business risk
Help drive legal and go-to-market contracting strategy, including advising the business on legal risks
We’d love to hear from you if you:
Are a UK qualified Solicitor
Have at least 2+ years relevant experience reviewing, drafting, and negotiating commercial and technology agreements (e.g., enterprise sales agreements, data processing agreements, SaaS agreements, etc) and partnership agreements (e.g., service partner agreements, reseller agreements, referral agreements, etc.)
Collaborative approach, with strong ability to build relationships, gain credibility, and partner with others
Strong work ethic and comfort operating in a fast-paced, rapidly changing environment, with a willingness to tackle projects both large and small
Understanding of AI, privacy and other relevant regulatory issues in commercial tech transactions
While it’s not required, it’s an added plus if you also have:
Experience using and advising on artificial intelligence
