You’ll contribute to maintaining our OpenStack‑based environment, implement tooling, and help streamline platform operations across our global footprint.</p> <p><span style="text-decoration: underline;"><strong>Candidate is expected to work in the UK Shift. </strong></span></p> <p><strong>Your Impact</strong></p> <ul> <li>Collaborate with senior engineers to design and deploy OpenStack environments that meet our availability, security, and scalability requirements</li> <li>Build and manage infrastructure as code using Terraform, Ansible, and Docker</li> <li>Contribute to automation initiatives—write scripts, develop playbooks, and integrate tools that accelerate deployment and reduce manual effort</li> <li>Assist in defining and executing automated performance tests, gathering metrics to inform capacity planning</li> <li>Troubleshoot and resolve day‑to‑day infrastructure issues, escalating complex problems as needed</li> <li>Partner with development and operations teams to understand platform needs and deliver reliable infrastructure solutions</li> <li>Maintain clear documentation of systems, configurations, and runbooks</li> </ul> <p><strong>Your Skills</strong></p> <ul> <li>8+ Experience working with Linux systems in production or high‑availability environments</li> <li>Proficiency on OpenStack components (e.g., Nova, Neutron, Cinder) and basic operational tasks (provisioning, scaling, patching)</li> <li>Practical experience with infrastructure automation tools such as Terraform and Ansible</li> <li>Working knowledge of containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes) and virtualization (KVM, VMware)</li> <li>Proficiency in at least one scripting language (Python, Bash, or similar)</li> <li>Understanding of CI/CD principles and experience integrating infrastructure changes into a pipeline</li> <li>Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent practical experience</li> </ul> <p><strong>Desired Skills</strong></p> <ul> <li>Exposure to bare‑metal provisioning tools (Ironic, MaaS)</li> <li>Hands‑on use of observability platforms (Grafa ...
