The Global AV Infrastructure team plays a pivotal role in expanding infrastructure access to support Uber’s ambitious autonomous and electrification goals. We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated Deployment Manager to lead the development, design, and site readiness of charging and maintenance infrastructure for autonomous vehicles. In this multifaceted role, you will be responsible for driving projects from early-stage site identification and acquisition through design, permitting, utility coordination, contractor selection, construction, and handoff to operations teams. This role will focus on fast-charging stations and maintenance depots in core city centers across the Middle East. The ideal candidate brings experience in real estate development, infrastructure deployment, design and construction management, and contract negotiation, along with strong organizational and communication skills. **What You'll Do** - Develop and manage a pipeline of potential new charging and depot sites in alignment with Uber’s AV infrastructure strategy. - Lead projects from site identification and acquisition through conceptual design, permitting, utility upgrades, contractor selection, and project handoff. - Lead negotiations with landlords, property owners, and public/private partners for leases, purchase agreements, and other site-related contracts. - Conduct and refine comprehensive site due diligence, including zoning, utility access, permitting requirements, and financial feasibility. - Partner with attorneys and internal stakeholders to draft, negotiate, and execute site agreements. - Collaborate with design, engineering, and construction teams to evaluate installation costs, optimize site layouts, and ensure readiness for deployment. - Develop EV charging station and depot plans that align with internal site specifications, utility standards, and AHJ requiremen
