About the jobAs a Business Development Manager, Airline Partnerships, you will support and grow relationships with a portfolio of airline distribution partners, helping to drive revenue growth and long-term collaboration.You will represent the company in day-to-day airline partner interactions, working closely with internal teams to execute commercial initiatives, support partner needs, and contribute to enterprise growth goals. This role requires a mix of account management, sales execution, and analytical skills.At Hopper, you can have an immediate impact in a high-growth environment. Airline sales and distribution is a specialized field, so prior experience in airline distribution (OTA, TMC, GDS, airline, etc.) is a strong plus, particularly within the LATAM market.Successful candidates will be able to clearly communicate Hopper’s value proposition and effectively position our products and capabilities to airline partners.What your day-to-day would look like:Support the management of a portfolio of airline accounts, contributing to growth strategies and execution plansTrack partner performance, analyze results, and help identify risks and growth opportunitiesBuild a strong understanding of partner business objectives and assist in developing initiatives aligned with their strategyIdentify opportunities to improve commercial relationships and collaborate with internal teams to address themHelp organize and participate in quarterly business reviews with airline partnersPartner with finance teams to support forecasting and revenue tracking for airline partnershipsAssist in developing and executing marketing initiatives and insertion orders (I/Os) with airline partners in support of growth goalsSupport contract negotiations, renewals, and amendments in collaboration with senior team membersAct as a liaison between airline partners and internal teams to ensure smooth operational execution and a strong traveler experienceDevelop a working knowledge of the global travel market, with a focus on airline industry dynamics.An ideal candidate has3–5 years of experience in sales, business development, or account management with a track record of supporting revenue growthPrior experience in airline distribution (OTA, TMC, GDS, or airline), with exposure to or experience in the LATAM market preferredFamiliarity with commercial, cultural, and regulatory dynamics of the LATAM travel ecosystemA positive, proactive, and self-motivated attitudeAbility to prepare and deliver clear, data-driven presentationsA collaborative, team-first mindsetStrong organizational, prioritization, and time management skillsA detail-oriented and analytical approach to problem-solvingPassion for travel, technology, and digital commerceFoundational value-selling skills and commercial acumenComfort working in a fast-paced, evolving environmentExcellent written and verbal communication skills in both English & PortuguesePerks and benefits of working with us:Well-funded and proven startup with large ambitions, competitive salary and the upsides of pre-IPO equity packages.Carrot Cash travel stipend.Hopper will cover 100% of the employee premiums for EOR-offered health, dental, life and short term disability insurances with SulAmerica.Hopper offers employees in Brazil monthly meal vouchersVery generous parental leaveFlexdesk All Access Pass & Work-from-home stipend.Entrepreneurial culture where pushing limits and taking risks is everyday business.Open communication with management and company leadership.Small, dynamic teams = massive impact.More about HopperAt Hopper, we are on a mission to become the leading travel platform globally – powering Hopper’s mobile app, website and our B2B business, HTS (Hopper Technology Solutions).
