<p>This role requires that you be on-site 5 days per week at our vibrant headquarters in San Mateo, CA, where collaboration and innovation thrive.</p>
<h3><strong>What You'll Do</strong></h3>
<ul>
<li>You will be a key player in unlocking $7+ billion in Total Addressable Market (TAM). The hardware lines you’ll own and expand are essential foundations of this business!</li>
<li>You’ll own the full strategy, roadmap, and flawless execution for our core Access Control hardware portfolio, managing a complex fleet of devices from launch to scale, including:
<ul>
<li>Our portfolio of Access Controllers, the foundation of any access control solution</li>
<li>Our portfolio of wired Readers, pushing the boundaries on RFID and Bluetooth technology</li>
<li>State-of-the-art accessories, including next-gen battery tech</li>
<li>End-to-end responsibility for the fleet management software and strategies for management of these critical devices at scale</li>
</ul>
</li>
<li>Deeply immerse yourself in the needs of critical, high-growth segments (Federal, Healthcare, Manufacturing, K-12) to identify opportunities to deliver and capture unparalleled value</li>
<li>Partner with Product Marketing and Sales to craft compelling GTM strategies and messaging that solidify our market leadership</li>
<li>Serve as the passionate voice of our customers, guiding product strategy to sustain our explosive growth and maintain our #1 status</li>
</ul>
<h3><strong>What You Bring</strong></h3>
<ul>
<li>4-8+ years of high-impact Product Management experience</li>
<li>Direct experience managing physical hardware products, especially those involving electrical components, firmware, or IoT/connected devices</li>
<li>An undergraduate degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related engineering field. You have the deep technical understanding needed to establish credibility with our engineers and sophisticated enterprise customers</li>
<li>A mindset ready to dive into technical details, data, and technology to uncover the insights that propel high-stakes product decisions</li>
<li>The ability to effectively bridge complex technical topics with business strategy, ensuring alignment across all functional teams</li>
<li>Proven track record supporting enterprise sales cycles and engaging effectively with large, complex customers</li>
