We are looking for proactive, analytical talented people to join our Cato Network Security Content team. As a Security Researcher (Network Apps research) you will research and investigate Network protocols and application traffic (L4-L7) using modern big data analysis frameworks, as well as network and web analysis tools (Wireshark, Fiddler, BurpSuite, DevTool). You will be responsible for shaping and creating content signatures to Cato’s security and network products such as NGWF, CASB, DLP, iOT/OT Security and more. Joining Cato is an excellent opportunity for network security enthusiasts who are passionate about the future of Networking and Security Responsibilities: Research and analyze network and application behavior as part of Cato Network’s Security products (NGFW, CASB, DLP and more). Solving customers' problems and pains. Focus on delivery fast at scale. Suggest and conduct new research vectors Utilize Cato’s Data Warehouse with big-data technologies to support your work Automate your work to improve efficiency Requirements: 3+ years of hands-on as an analyst/researcher experience in the cyber/security/network industry Knowledge of networking architecture, OSI model, and protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, TLS, HTTP) - a must Experience with LLM-based coding workflows OR expertise in at least one scripting language such as Python (Pandas, NumPy) - a must Experience with signature development for IPS or Firewall - big advantage Experience with SQL or data analysis tools – big advantage Experience ( Hands-on ) with Wireshark and PCAP analysis or similar tools Excellent English and communication skills Team player, responsible, and well-organized *We operate in a hybrid model, requiring three days in the office. *Location: NR7, Náměstí republiky, Prague, Czech Republic ...
