Job Description
Welcome to the future of cloud networking and security!
Cato Networks is the first company to converge enterprise networking and security into one centralized and global service that is delivered by cloud. It is led by networking and security pioneer Shlomo Kramer (Check Point, Imperva) and early investor (Palo Alto Networks, Exabeam, Trusteer and more). Cato’s unique technology inspired a brand-new product category, later named “SASE” by Gartner and a market expected to reach $28.5 billion by 2028. This is your opportunity to get on the rocket ship and join a company that is building a cutting-edge enterprise network and secure cloud platform, and is on a fast track to becoming the worldwide market leader – don’t miss it!
We’re looking for a Technical Release Manager to join our Automation Group. In this role, you will own and lead the bi-weekly release approval process for a core product component, including large-scale, cross-team end-to-end (E2E) testing cycles. This role combines hands-on operational ownership with proactive, system-level thinking, focused on improving release stability, quality, and reliability over time.
Responsibilities:
End-to-end ownership of E2E release testing cycles
Monitor, analyze, and drive the resolution of test failures
Work closely with Development, Automation, and Ops teams
Identify recurring issues and lead long-term stabilization efforts
Improve tools, processes, and standards related to release quality
Build and maintain visibility through clear status updates, trends, and KPIs
Serve as the technical focal point for pre-production stability and release quality
Requirements:
Strong technical background (QA, Automation, Software, Systems, or Support Engineering)
Hands-on experience with E2E testing in complex systems
Ability to perform basic debugging and root cause analysis
Experience in SaaS / Cloud environments — required
Proven ability to work cross-functionally with multiple teams
Strong communication skills and an ownership-driven mindset
Strong Advantage:
Experience in Technical Support, Escalation Management, Production Operations, or Incident Management
Familiarity with Jira, Confluence, Git, and CI/CD pipelines
