Cato Networks is currently looking for a full-time, permanent Technical Writer to join our team. You will create, author, and organize content and procedures that clearly explain our products and features to customers. You must have excellent writing skills, organizational skills, and be able to work with your co-workers in an Agile cloud environment.
Responsibilities:
Create Knowledge Base articles that explain the overview of the feature, and procedures to configure it
Work as part of the Product Docs team and the larger Product team to support Cato’s vision to deliver the best SASE experience and service to our customers
The Cato Cloud is updated every week - you need to make sure that the documentation and Release Notes are ready for the new or updated features
Challenge yourself and grow as a Technical Writer, Cato employee, and human being
Requirements:
BA/BS or equivalent experience required, with a strong technical and technological orientation.
3 or more years of proven technical writing experience with topic-based authoring and delivering content to enable a rich and engaging learning experience for users.
Experience documenting cybersecurity and understanding the IT admin persona
Positive attitude towards collaborating with AI tools, AI-based processes, and content creation
Excellent communication and teamwork skills, including willingness and ability to consult with subject matter experts from Engineering, Support, and Product Management.
Excellent self-learner and quickly understands new technological concepts and ideas. Not only find out how something works, but also when and why to use a configuration/setting.
Ability to see the big picture of the Cato SASE service and a proven track record of writing concepts and sample use cases from scratch.
Strong initiative and ability to work independently and as part of a team - working under pressure, and maintaining focus while keeping a sense of humor
Native English speaker
Advantages:
Knowledge and experience with networking, remote access, or user management
Experience documenting features based in a SaaS environment
