THE ROLE As the Supply Chain Operations Manager for EXA, you will be the primary architect of the supply chain for our next-generation, high-performance AI storage solution. You will bridge the gap between ambitious engineering and global scale, orchestrating a high-performing network that turns complex hardware concepts into market-ready reality. By collaborating deeply with internal and external partners, you ensure our most advanced technology reaches customers with unmatched precision, cost-efficiency, and speed. WHAT YOU'LL DO Design and Manage the EXA Supply Chain Model: Own the end-to-end supply chain strategy for the EXA product line, defining operational frameworks that directly enable our competitive advantage in the AI market. Lead Day-to-Day Supply Chain Execution: Oversee daily operational execution with contract manufacturers (CMs) and key strategic suppliers, ensuring alignment on build plans, materials availability, quality performance, and delivery commitments. Drive accountability through structured governance, performance metrics, and proactive issue resolution to maintain uninterrupted production flow. Orchestrate Cross-Functional Delivery: Serve as the central nervous system between Engineering, the Business Unit, Product Management, Planning, Procurement, and external partners to ensure seamless communication and alignment from initial concept through high-volume production. Drive Operational Readiness and Continuity: Lead the execution of manufacturing, planning, and inventory strategies to guarantee product availability and mitigate global supply chain risks before they impact the customer. Optimize Product Lifecycle Performance: Manage complex program schedules, and process development to meet aggressive time-to-market and operational KPIs. WHAT YOU BRING Hardware Scaling Expertise: Proven ability to transition hardware products from early-stage design into large-scale, outsourced manufacturing environments while maintaining rigorous quality and cost standards. Strategic Program Leadership: Mastery of hardware development lifecycles and project management methodologies, with a knack for influencing executive stakeholders and leading diverse, global cross-functional teams. Analytical Problem Solving: A data-driven approach to identifying bottlenecks and an ability to develop creative, effective solutions within the fast-paced and often ambiguous landscape of emerging technologies. Global Supply Chain Fluency: Deep understanding of international manufacturing ecosystems and the interpersonal skills required to manage high-level partnerships across different regions and time zones. We are primarily an in-office environment and therefore, you will be expected to work from the Santa Clara, CA office in compliance with Pure’s policies, unless you are on PTO, or work travel, or other approved leave. #LI-ONSITE #LI-KQ1 Salary ranges are determined based on role, level and location. For positions open to candidates in multiple geographical locations, the base salary range is reflective of the labor market across the applicable locations. This role may be eligible for incentive pay and/or equity. There is no application deadline and we accept applications on an ongoing basis until the job is filled.
