About us
Symbolica was founded on a simple idea: intelligence is about structure and reasoning, not just pattern matching.
For decades, AI has been split between symbolic systems that are reliable but brittle and neural systems that are flexible but unpredictable. We’re building a bridge between the two.
We’re an AI research lab combining deep mathematics and machine learning to create systems that truly reason. Using category and type theory as a unifying framework, we develop interpretable, reliable and scalable foundations for intelligence and turn them into real products, working in a tight feedback loop where research directly shapes application.
Agentica is the latest expression of this vision: an agent framework for tool use and multi-agent orchestration through arbitrary code execution. It recently achieved 85.28% on ARC-AGI-2, setting a new public SOTA.

About this role
We’re looking for a Founding GTM/Sales Lead to build Symbolica’s go-to-market motion from the ground up. This is a zero-to-one role for someone who wants to create the playbook, not inherit one. We want someone who thrives in the earliest stages, gets energy from ambiguity, is comfortable being on the road daily meeting enterprise customers, and knows how to turn raw product potential into a repeatable high-value GTM engine.
You’ll design and run our demos, explore customer problems in real environments, craft our sales strategy, build and manage a pipeline, negotiate and close deals, and translate market signals into product direction. You’ll be the connective tissue between customers, research, engineering and leadership — shaping how Symbolica enters and scales in the enterprise.
📍 This is an onsite role based in our SF office (345 California St), with frequent customer visits across the Bay Area and beyond.
Your focus
Spend time in the field: meet high-value enterprise customers daily, understand their workflows, identify where Symbolica can create immediate impact, and convert deep discovery into opportunities.
Build and run our demos: craft compelling, technically accurate demos that show the power of structured reasoning and multi-agent systems in real customer contexts.
Own our sales strategy: define ICPs, GTM approach, pricing hypothesis, and early repeatable sales patterns.
Build and manage the pipeline: track opportunities, forecast revenue, and maintain operational rigor while moving fast.
Negotiate and close enterprise deals: drive the full sales cycle from first conversation to signature.
Inform product direction: channel customer insight into research and engineering with clarity, prioritization, and urgency.
Experiment aggressively: pilots, workshops, partnerships, YC Demo Day visits, AI community events — whatever moves the needle.
Be the founder’s GTM counterpart: a high-agency operator who thrives in a zero-to-one environment.
About you
Former founder or entrepreneurial operator with a strong GTM instinct; you’ve built things from scratch, not just executed a pre-built playbook.
High-agency, high-ego (in the best sense): confident, ambitious, resilient, and comfortable handling senior enterprise stakeholders.
Exceptional communicator: able to translate deep technical capabilities into clear commercial narratives.
Experience selling or evangelizing technical products (AI, ML infra, developer tools, data platforms, enterprise SaaS).
Comfortable being on the road daily and working directly with large enterprise customers.
Strong deal instincts: pipeline discipline, negotiation, closing, and maintaining momentum in long enterprise cycles.
