Software Engineer - Mission Systems

Hermeus is a high-speed aircraft manufacturer focused on the rapid design, build, and test of high-Mach and hypersonic aircraft for the national interest. Working directly with the Department of Defense, Hermeus delivers capabilities that will ensure that our nation, and our allies, maintain an asymmetric advantage over any and all potential adversaries. The Mission Systems Engineering (MSE) Team develops the Mission Management System (MMS)—a software platform that integrates mission subsystems, autonomy services, operator interfaces, communications links, and telemetry for Hermeus aircraft. The MMS enables rapid incorporation of new capabilities from internal teams and third-party providers. As a Software Engineer on this team, you will design, implement, and test C++ software that extends this platform and interfaces with mission subsystems, autonomy solutions, and external services.
