POSITION OVERVIEW : Fortera is seeking a creative, motivated, and detail-oriented Content Creator Intern to join our Marketing Creative team. This internship is ideal for a student passionate about storytelling, visual media, and digital engagement. The intern will support content creation efforts across multiple platforms, helping bring Fortera’s brand, technology, and culture to life through compelling visuals and social media content. Location: This is a fully onsite position based at our San Jose office. Applicants should be able to relocate independently, as relocation support is not offered. This internship program is designed for students who will continue their academic studies following the internship and are seeking hands-on experience contributing to real-world marketing and creative projects. RESPONSIBILITIES : Capture and produce high-quality photo and video content featuring team members, projects, events, and company initiatives Assist with short-form and long-form content creation for social media and digital platforms Support social media management, including drafting posts, scheduling content, and monitoring engagement Collaborate with the Marketing Creative team on content campaigns and brand initiatives Help maintain organized digital asset libraries (photos, videos, graphics) Participate in brainstorming sessions to generate fresh content ideas Ensure all content aligns with Fortera’s brand voice and visual identity MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS : 3+ years of study in Marketing, Communications, Media Studies, Journalism, Digital Media, or a related field by the start of the internship Internship eligibility: Candidates must be actively enrolled in an academic program at the start of the internship and have at least one academic term (quarter or semester) remaining following the internship period Strong interest in content creation and digital storytelling Experience with photography and/or videography (academic, personal, or professional) Familiarity with social media platforms (LinkedIn, Instagram, YouTube, etc.) Basic knowledge of content editing tools (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite, Canva, CapCut, or similar) Strong communication skills and attention to detail Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines Basic video editing skills Understanding of social media trends and analytics Creative eye for composition, lighting, and storytelling Portfolio required (please include link in resume or application; applications without a portfolio will not be considered) PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS : Basic video editing and post-production experience Understanding of social media trends and analytics Experience creating content for a brand or organization Ability to adapt content style for different platforms COMPENSATION : The hourly range for this job is $25.00 - $30.00, commensurate with experience.
