We are dedicated to cultivating an equitable and inclusive environment that embraces our differences, and supports and celebrates all of our team members.</span></p></div><p>Key Responsibilities:</p> <ul> <li>Lead the mechanical design and development of interior / exterior closures</li> <li>Create 3D models and technical drawings</li> <li>Develop technical specifications and requirements for closures, seals, and mechanical systems</li> <li>Perform structural analysis and optimization using FEA tools</li> <li>Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Industrial design, airframe, manufacturing, supply chain, certification, and suppliers</li> <li>Manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting program milestones and deadlines</li> <li>Ensure designs meet safety regulations</li> <li>Support certification activities and documentation</li> <li>Participate in design reviews and technical meetings</li> </ul> <p>Required Qualifications:</p> <ul> <li>Bachelor's degree in Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or equivalent level of experience</li> <li>5+ years of mechanical design experience in Aerospace</li> <li>Strong 3D CAD skills (Siemens NX preferred)</li> <li>Strong knowledge of GD&T and engineering drawings</li> <li>Experience with FEA tools and structural analysis</li> <li>Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills</li> <li>Strong project management and leadership abilities</li> <li>Effective communication and interpersonal skills</li> <li>Experience with mass and cost optimization initiatives</li> </ul> <p> </p> <p> </p> <p> </p> <h5><span style="font-weight: 400;">Archer is committed to working with and providing reasonable accommodations to job applicants with physical or mental disabilities, and those with sincerely held religious beliefs.
