We build for enterprise scale from day one. About The Role We’re looking for a hands-on QA Team Lead to build and lead our quality efforts at Unframe. In this role, you’ll own end-to-end quality across our AI platform, from defining testing strategies to leading a small team of QA engineers and automation developers. As an early team lead, you’ll play a key role in shaping our QA processes, infrastructure, and culture, ensuring we deliver reliable, scalable, and high-quality products in a fast-paced startup environment. Responsibilities Lead and mentor QA engineers and automation developers Define and implement QA strategy, processes, and best practices Own manual and automated testing across the platform Drive automation and improve testing coverage Work closely with Engineering, Product, and AI teams Integrate QA into CI/CD pipelines and development workflows Ensure product quality, performance, and scalability Requirements 6+ years of experience in QA, including team leadership Experience managing QA and automation efforts (team leadership experience is a plus) Strong hands-on experience with test automation Experience in fast-paced startup environments Familiarity with APIs, web applications, and cloud environments Experience with CI/CD and testing pipelines Strong communication and collaboration skills Nice to Have Experience testing AI/ML or LLM-based products Familiarity with APIs, microservices, and cloud environments Experience with performance or load testing Knowledge of observability or monitoring tools Experience building QA processes in startups Why Join Us?
